Google Workspace is introducing shareable video presentations for Google Slides that allow you to easily record your presentations and share them with others to watch whenever they have time. Whether it’s webinars, employee training, or classroom lessons, slide recordings let you create visual and engaging presentations without exiting the Slides platform.

Why it’s worth checking out shareable video presentations for Google Slides

This feature makes it simple for end users to share more interesting video presentations that can be easily viewed by others. Whether you’re sharing videos within your company or with external audiences, using slide recordings eliminates the need for a separate video recording tool. Plus, you can use your computer’s built-in or external camera and microphone hardware to add your voice and webcam feed to your recording, enhancing the overall experience.

Keep in mind

You can only create recordings using Google Chrome on your desktop. It’s not possible to create recordings on mobile devices or through the Slides mobile app. However, you can locate and view your recording using the Drive mobile app.
